Rev your engines and get ready to rumble!

Monster Jam is coming to Colorado Springs this weekend, bringing 12,000-pound monster trucks that will tear it up at the Broadmoor World Arena. The extreme motorsport show will feature about a half-dozen drivers fighting for a chance to go to the 2024 Monster Jam World Finals.

Drivers will showcase their vehicles at the show, including trucks like the Grave Digger, the Megalodon and El Toro Loco. Trucks will fly while drivers steer the vehicles into wheelies, backflips and race.

“People like the carnage,” said Joe Dennis, driver of Dragon. “I think big air and big cool saves and cool tricks, balancing on two wheels, are what people love to see.”

“One of the great things I enjoy is just meeting the fans, getting to travel around the United States meeting people who get to share this collective interest of Monster Jam trucks,” Dennis said. “Just meeting them and getting to know their story and how Monster Jam has affected them and impacted their lives.”

Then, it’s on to the show. “Everybody’s excited to see what we can do in these trucks,” Dennis said

“I’m looking forward to just getting out there and perfecting my skills and getting more seat time to get better,” said Dennis, who is in his first competitive year.

And, whether its your first time going or you’re a seasoned veteran, be sure to be punctual.

“There’s very few times where we don’t start on time. But you want to do your best to be in the seat on time, because it’s gonna be exciting,” Dennis said. “Make sure you take your phone out, so that you can remember these moments, take videos, hashtag Monster Jam, hashtag the drivers, because we love to repost any of the cool moments that the fans capture during the events.”
