Met Gala theme is ‘The Garden of Time.’ Check out the celebrity fashion
Forget the Oscars, the annual Met Gala is the most-anticipated celebrity fashion event of the year.
The stars will be out at the 2024 gala Monday evening at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. This year’s fundraiser for the Met’s Costume Institute will celebrate its new exhibit: “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” which features 250 rare items from the past 400 years of fashion.
The dress code for the Met Gala is “The Garden of Time,” drawing its inspiration from J.G. Ballard’s 1962 short story.
Who is attending Met Gala?
The co-chairs for this year are Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny and Zendaya.
Among the early arrivals were: Matt Damon, Lea Michele, Zoe Saldana, Mindy Kaling, Donald Glover and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Also expected to attend are: Rihanna, Tom Holland, Ben Affleck, Dua Lipa and Lily Gladstone.
