LENEXA, Kan. (KCTV) – A business with its roots in Kansas just opened its 200th location in the U.S.

Lenexa-based Rally House and Sampler Stores Inc. opened its first location in 1989. The company said it opened more than 100 stores in a two-year span.

The company just celebrated the openings of new stores in Philadelphia, Louisville, West Virginia, Chicago, and Buffalo over the weekend to bring the number of locations to more than 200.

The company said the new stores make Rally House the fastest growing sports and local apparel retailer in the country.

“It is an incredible thing to be a part of,” Aaron Johnson, VP of Marketing Strategy, said. “Since our first store in 1989, we’ve stayed true to our mission of providing locally inspired merchandise and gifts. No two stores are alike, which creates a catered shopping experience and product selection that is specific to each community we are in. And the amazing thing is, we are just getting started!”

There are currently Rally House locations in 19 states, with more on the way. The company said it has plans to open stores in Denver, Houston, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis, and other markets, later this year.
