MCAL champion Redwood was picked as the lone Marin team in the North Coast Section Division I bracket while four others made the Division II field when the brackets were released on Sunday.

The Giants were awarded the No. 4 seed in D-I, meaning they’ll stay at home for a 3:30 p.m. Tuesday match against No. 13 Heritage and potentially get another home game in Thursday’s quarterfinals. The D-I semifinals and finals are set for Saturday at James Logan High in Union City.

MCAL runner-up Branson drew the No. 2 seed in D-II and hosts No. 15 Middletown at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at College of Marin. The semifinals and finals are set for Saturday at the highest remaining seed. Top-seeded University plays at Golden Gate Park but Branson would be next in line to host if the Red Devils falter.

The Nos. 9, 10, and 11 seeds are all from the county — Marin Academy, Marin Catholic, and San Domenico, in that order. MA plays No. 8 Arcata at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at McKinleyville High. MC travels to face No. 7 Piedmont at 5 p.m. Tuesday. San Domenico hits the road to battle No. 6 Head-Royce at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
