Keeping up with Kim? Pip Edwards copies Kardashian’s grey Met Gala cardigan as she leaves P.E Nation headquarters ahead of her Australian Fashion Week show

She’s known for her unique sense of fashion, often pairing luxury designer clothes with pieces from her own PE Nation activewear line.

But activewear mogul Pip Edwards, 44, took a leaf out of another celebrity’s style book as she stepped out in Sydney on Wednesday.

Pip was spotted leaving her P.E Nation brand’s headquarters wearing a fluffy grey cardigan reminiscent of the one worn by Kim Kardashian at the 2024 Met Gala days earlier.

It’s no wonder Pip was inspired by Kim’s look, given that her cardigan has been the talk of tabloids across the globe since the highly-publicised red carpet event.

Designed by John Galliano for Maison Margiela, Kim’s bespoke grey sweater was crafted from thistle-washed boiled cashmere.

While Kim paired the garment with a couture corset gown covered in silver brocade and metal motifs, Pip wore hers with an ab-baring white crop top and a quirky pair of patchworked jeans by Ukranian fashion designer Ksenia Schnaider.

Pip completed her look with a Burberry tote bag, white sneakers, quirky rings and a pair of gold drop earrings.

Her blonde-streaked hair was tied back into a half-up style, while her makeup look consisted of bronzer, peach-toned blush and brown eyeshadow.

The sighting comes as Pip prepares to show her latest P.E Nation collection at Australian Fashion week on May 14.

It will be her first AFW runway show since the shock departure of her longtime business partner and co-founder Claire Greaves (formerly Tregoning).

The duo announced in March that Claire was stepping away from the business, leaving Pip to take over as the sole creative director.

‘We basically had to do a full colour-palette cleanse so that the rebrand and relaunch that you’ll see is a full cleanse, which will be quite a shock [compared with] the P.E Nation that you know,’ she said.

‘Our fabrications are very luxe, our silhouettes are luxe, but it’s anchored in active.’
