Kareena Kapoor Has Mastered The Art Of Burning Body Fat: These Are Her 3 Favourite Exercises

Kareena Kapoor is top-notch not just in her acting, but also when it comes to keeping up with her fitness levels and meeting her weight-loss goals. The actor loves to work out and her social media posts are filled with videos and pictures of her many workout sessions, most of which involve yoga. The mother-of-two is often seen working out with celebrity yoga and holistic wellness expert Anshuka Parwani, who motivates her to sweat it out in her home gym, where the actor is often seen doing difficult yoga poses. A fan of backbends, also known as ‘Chakrasana‘, Kareena was recently seen trying something new. Take a look.

The video of the actor’s workout session was shared by Parwani on Instagram, who wrote that these three ‘simple and effective’ burn movements target ‘all your core muscles and are a great full body burn’. She added that these exercises also build stability, core strength and work on the muscles of the hips. “Start your elevated plank, hold for 30 seconds; rep sets of 15 each and watch your progress. Remember, stay consistent and feel the burn,” she noted.

Kareena, at the age of 43, began her exercise with an elevated plank routine, in which she raised her legs and placed them on a platform, while balancing her body weight on her forearms. She mastered this exercise and made it look like a breeze! Planks and their variations are excellent for trimming the fat from the abdomen. It is the best core workout, which you need to do consistently to see the results.

Kareena managed to hold this pose for quite some time, before moving on to weight training. She was seen working out with dumbbells. Holding them firmly in her hands, she bent towards one side, while stretching the other side, and repeating it with her other arm. This is a good exercise for the muscles of the shoulders and arms.

Next, the ‘Jab We Met‘ star did a variation of crunches with weights. Holding the dumbbells, Kareena lifted one leg while lifting her upper body, and repeated it with the other leg. If you want to do this exercise, make sure your knees are not bent. Ideally, you must do some warm-up stretches to prepare for such a session.
