Dua Lipa Believes She Manifested Headlining Glastonbury

Dua Lipa believes she “manifested” headlining Glastonbury with her third album, ‘Radical Optimism’, early on in her career. Lipa will play the Pyramid Stage at the British music festival alongside Coldplay and SZA. The pop star has previously performed at Glastonbury, having played the John Peel Stage in 2016 and 2017. The ‘One Kiss’ singer’s set will follow the release of her “psychedelia, trip-hop and Britpop” inspired new album, ‘Radical Optimism.’ During an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Lipa explained how she “believes in manifestation, big time.” She revealed that she had “written down” a note about her hopes of one day collaborating with Tame Impala, who co-wrote ‘Radical Optimism.’ “Something that I’d written down for album three was headlining Glastonbury. I feel like I’m going to get teary talking about it. Glastonbury is just ‘the’ festival, that one, I’ve loved going just as a fan. And to go up on that stage and perform,” shared Lipa. The 28-year-old then recalled being given a “terrible slot” at Glastonbury in 2016 before returning the year after to have “the best time.”
