2nd annual PMR Children’s Business Fair happening this weekend

MARION, Ill. (KFVS) – The second annual PMR Automotive Children’s Business Fair is happening in Marion, Illinois on Saturday.

The event will take place at the Pavillion on May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to organizers, this year’s fair will feature eight young entrepreneurs ranging from a face painter to clay and rubber beaders to a gourmet baker. All entrepreneurs are under the age of 18 and are growing their businesses right here at home.

Kids that have businesses are also competing for prizes in areas such as best display and best sales pitch, helping them learn about all aspects of business.

Not only will audience members get to shop the businesses, but they also will help with the judging by voting for a fan favorite booth.

This year’s Children’s Business Fair is presented by PMR Automotive, sponsored by SIU Credit Union and supported by MH Insurance Centre and Party Bear.
