If you shop local this holiday season, the Town of Okotoks wants you to save your receipts and enter to win one of five prizes.
Beginning today, shoppers can email their holiday shopping receipts to the Town and be entered into the Reindeer Games Contest to win gift cards from local businesses.
The contest runs from Nov. 20 until Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. Any receipt from a local business in Okotoks qualifies, including retail shops, meals, services, memberships, and online purchases, the Town said.
There are four $250 gift cards up for grabs along with one grand prize of a $500 gift card.
Draws will be made beginning on Nov. 24, with the grand prize draw taking place on Dec. 15.
To enter, receipts in jpeg or PDF format can be emailed to [email protected], along with full name and phone number of the person entering.
Each valid receipt from a local Okotoks business counts as one entry, the Town said, and there are bonus entries available for shopping on Nov. 25 or for posting a local shopping experience on social media.
Winners will be announced publicly in early January.
