NBA (0.5 Unit) Indiana Pacers Team Total Over 110.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 5:30 PM CT on TNT

I don’t know what that dud was from the Pacers on Tuesday, but my sense is that they’re due for a bounce back tonight. Game 5 was very similar to Game 1 in that Indiana shot very poorly from the field overall and missed a ton of three-point attempts. But they quickly turned things around in Game 2 to hang 125 points, and a similar turnaround should come tonight. The Pacers shoot it far better at home, and will have made adjustments to counter what the Bucks did defensively on Tuesday, so look for them to pile up the points like they’ve done in almost every game against Milwaukee this year.

NBA (0.5 Unit) NY Knicks/Philadelphia 76ers Over 198.5 (-110; Odds via Caesars): 8:00 PM CT on TNT

Totals have been dipping in this series since Game 1, and this is an overreaction. It has definitely been a physical series, and this is an elimination game, but a total south of the 200-point threshold is drastic. These teams have gone over this number in 4 of 5 games this series, with 213.2 points on average. Basically, I don’t have the guts to take the under on a number like this, so I might as well go with the over.

MLB (0.5 Unit) Cleveland Guardians ML @ Houston Astros (+115; Odds via Fanduel): 7:10 PM CT on SCHN

Why does Houston continue to get such respect in the market despite being 10-20 on the season? And why would they be favored against the team atop the AL standings, especially with a terrible starting pitcher going today? All Spencer Arrighetti does is lose games for the Astros, as they’re 0-3 in his starts this season. He doesn’t pitch deep into games either, meaning the brutal Houston bullpen gets exposed even more. Logan Allen doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence for Cleveland, but this game overall feels like it’s mispriced based on name recognition of the teams, not the pitching or results this season.
