Gary Jaffe has been promoted to vice president of strategy and growth at North Charleston-based Atlas Tech. Previously, he was director of strategy and growth. He has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration, both from The Citadel.

Engineering

Kevin Kubiak has joined Stantec as a senior water resources engineer. He is based in the North Charleston office. He has 13 years of civil engineering industry experience. Previously, he was with Berkeley County Government. He has bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and physics from the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, respectively.

Government

John O. Williams has been named economic development director for Berkeley County Government. Previously, he was an attorney for the county. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University and a law degree from the University of South Carolina.

Law

Sterling Moose Busbee has been named a shareholder at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd PA. She is based in the Charleston office and focuses her practice on tax matters, mergers, economic development and corporate law. She has bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clemson University, a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a master of laws in taxation from New York University.

Danielle Trauth-Jurman has been promoted at Trident United Way to director of planned giving and endowment strategy. Previously, she was an advancement officer. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in public administration at the University of Pittsburgh.

Mike Ferrer has joined Landmark Enterprises as director of business development. He has more than 20 years of commercial real estate industry experience. Previously, he was principal at and broker-in-charge at Ferrer Commercial Real Estate Advisors. He has a bachelor’s degree in speech and communication studies from Clemson University.
