Ranking all 32 NFL teams (including the Dolphins) by distance they’ll travel in 2024

The Miami Dolphins will rack up frequent flyer miles during the 2024 NFL season.

On Wednesday, the schedule for the upcoming season was announced and it includes trips across the country to play the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

Traveling more than most isn’t new for the Dolphins, though. Nestled in their own corner of the United States, all three of their AFC East rivals are more than 1,000 miles away and only a handful of teams are even within 800 miles. No two teams in the NFL are further apart than the Dolphins and Seahawks.

So it’s no surprise that when all 32 teams are ranked by the distance they’ll travel in the 2024 season (according to Google Earth), the Dolphins aren’t far from the top:
