Music, Markets, Fitness Classes Coming To North Loop Green

The new residential/dining/office complex North Loop Green is about to officially introduce itself in a big way with an action-packed summer of outdoor activities and entertainment on its new one-acre green space, dubbed The Green.

Between early June and late September, more than 100 events–from live music to local markets to fitness and children’s theater classes–are scheduled, with drinks and small bites available at Bassett Hound, the new patio bar at The Green.

North Loop Green Unveils Summer Programming and Community Event Schedule at the Green

Local market curators, festival organizers, and fitness groups to host outdoor activities

MINNEAPOLIS (May 7, 2024) – North Loop Green is thrilled to announce its lineup of events happening this summer on the lively, one-acre green space – the Green. With a commitment to delivering year-round, best-in-class programming, North Loop Green is set to host over 100 outdoor events at the Green this summer that promise something for everyone. The new community hub has enlisted local businesses and event organizers to support programming and to further bolster activity in the North Loop neighborhood. Events at the Green will begin on June 4, 2024. 

From fitness classes to local markets and live music, North Loop Green extends a warm invitation to all individuals – whether residents of the North Loop, a neighboring area, or simply passing through – to immerse themselves in a packed calendar with engaging activities.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2024

• North Loop Green Block Party 

• Celebrate North Loop Green’s opening with a community block party on Sunday, June 23! All are invited to enjoy the new community hub complete with music, delicious food, fun activities, and much more.

• Visit the Green on Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. from June 6 through September 19 for the North Loop Night Market. Dive into a world of locally sourced crafts, foods, pet goods, and unique treasures, carefully selected to delight and inspire.

• Grind MPLS: Attendees can expect to push their limits and achieve their fitness goals with Grind MPLS. Energizing HIIT sessions will take place Wednesday mornings and invigorating cycle rides will happen Friday evenings from June 4 through September 13.

• Barre3: Experience the transformative power of barre3 with classes on select Saturdays from June 8 through September 14. Guests will be taken through a holistic workout that combines strength conditioning, cardio, and mindfulness.

• Step back in time with Totally Rad Vintage Fest occurring on July 6, August 3, and September 7. Explore rare vintage fashion, accessories, and homeware vendors for a truly nostalgic experience.

• Stop by North Loop Green on game day for drink specials and music provided by GenerationNOW Entertainment, the official DJ partner of North Loop Green. On select dates, catch a game on the video board.
  • This summer, Bassett Hound is the go-to spot at North Loop Green, ideal for a visit before, during, or after a game. Bassett Hound’s bar and patio offer a wide selection of beers, ciders, seltzers, cocktails, wines, soft drinks, small bites, sandwiches, and sweet treats—perfect for grabbing on the go.
  • Children’s Theater Company 
  • Laugh, dance, and discover with Children’s Theater Company’s Music in Motion and Story Theater classes at North Loop Green. The classes will take place on June 9, July 14, and August 11.
