MOVEBR to host virtual meeting for small business owners
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Are you a small business owner in Baton Rouge? The MOVEBR Small Business Outreach Team is hosting a virtual meeting on how to properly place a bid.
It’s happening on Thursday, May 2 from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Organizers say they want to to a closer look at common bid errors that have recently caused some bids to be considered “non-responsive”, costing small businesses the opportunity to do business with the City-Parish.
Officials added it also creates delays and additional expenses for the City-Parish when bids have to be rejected.
