Major League Baseball (MLB) has scrapped plans to play regular season games in Paris in 2025 after failing to find a promoter, according to the Associated Press (AP).
MLB and the league’s players’ association (MLBPA) had agreed to take a series to the French capital back in March 2022. Reuters later reported that the Los Angeles Dodgers were in talks to play in the Stade de France in the summer of 2025.
However, the AP says MLB has now cancelled proposed games in Paris after being unable to make them work financially.
