The premiere date for singer Lee Hyori‘s new travel-themed reality show, “Mom, Shall We Travel?” (Working title) has been set.

According to a report by News1 on May 7, the JTBC new variety program, which captures Lee Hyori traveling with her mother, wrapped up domestic filming earlier this month.

The production team has confirmed “Mom, Shall We Travel?” as the title and will launch the show on May 26 as a Sunday evening entertainment program.

This program is a road movie-style show where top star Lee Hyori goes on a trip with her mother for the first time. The series is directed by Ma Geon-young, who has previously worked with Lee Hyori on hit shows like “Hyori’s Homestay” and “Camping Club.”

Lee Hyori, known for her unique star quality and knack for entertainment, has been a ‘guaranteed success’ in every show she appears. Following her daily life in Jeju on “Hyori’s Homestay,” and rebooting her identity as a singer in “Dance Singer Nomad,” and capturing her emotional reunion with a previously adopted rescue dog in “Canada Check-In,” she consistently brings fresh formats and new synergies to her projects. Most recently, she connected with audiences as a music show host on “Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet.”

“Mom, Shall We Travel?” promises to deliver deep and relatable stories between mother and daughter, offering a more intimate look at Lee Hyori not just as a star, but as a daughter. The emotional and genuine content is anticipated to resonate strongly with viewers.

The first episode will air at 9:10 PM KST on May 26.
