Jewelry business in Garden City robbed, suspect flees
WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A man held a victim at gunpoint, robbed a Garden City jewelry shop and fled, according to Garden City police.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon at Joyeria America, at 308 E. Fulton Street in Garden City. The suspect forcibly moved the victim throughout the business, demanding money and jewelry, before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of property.
According to police, the suspect is a Hispanic male of medium build, with a black coat and face mask. It was unclear which direction the suspect ran.
