How To Unlock Daisy Duck (& The Fashion Boutique) In Disney Dreamlight Valley

With the recent free update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, Daisy Duck has finally arrived, and not just her, but her Fashion Boutique as well. Once players have updated their game to the latest version, they will immediately be able to begin the quest to invite Daisy. However, Oswald, who was also part of this update, is exclusive to the A Rift In Time DLC.

With the arrival of Daisy Duck comes the newest addition to merchant buildings as well. Her welcome quest, You Have Mail!, also includes the construction of a brand-new Fashion Boutique. This Boutique will not only be a place to express your latest custom creations, but Daisy will reward players with Daisy Coins, her very own form of currency.

How To Unlock The You Have Mail! Quest

Welcome Daisy Duck To Your Valley

Upon starting up Disney Dreamlight Valley, Mickey Mouse should immediately have a quest bubble ready for you. Speak with him, and he will let you know he’s received a special letter that could only be from the one and only, Daisy Duck.

She states that she’s ready to come back to the Valley and bring her fashion expertise with her. This will officially trigger the start of the welcoming quest. During your conversation with Mickey, he will hand over Daisy’s home, which he needs you to place.

Daisy’s home, like other characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, can be placed anywhere you would like. So go ahead and find the right spot for it and then place it using the furniture tab of your inventory. Once it’s down, it will still, unfortunately, need to be built, which means handing over some of your Star Coins to Scrooge McDuck.

Specifically, Daisy’s home will cost 20,000 Star Coins, but once it is constructed, the Welcome ceremony for Daisy will be initiated and she will become a permanent resident.

How To Unlock The Fashion Boutique in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Craft The Wonderland Amplification Elixir

Once welcomed, speak with Daisy to begin the second portion of the You Have Mail! quest, which is constructing the Fashion Boutique. She will ask you to come with her to her house where she will show you a miniature version of the Fashion Boutique which is actually the real thing that Fairy Godmother shrunk down for her. To bring it back to full scale, you will need to use the Wonderland Amplification Elixir on your watering can and water the mini Boutique.

To craft the Elixir, you will need 3x White Daisies, 3x Dream Shards, 3x Yellow Topaz Gems, and 5x Carrots. Once all these items have been collected, head to any crafting station in Disney Dreamlight Valley and make the Elixir.

From there, find it in your inventory and select “use” to equip it to your watering can. Go back to Daisy’s house and water her Boutique, and it will be available for you to collect now. Once collected, simply head outside and place it.

Daisy’s Boutique will appear in your normal inventory, but you cannot place it from that tab.
If you try, nothing will happen.
You still need to go to the Furniture Tab
where you should also be able to find it under a tab with Mickey’s face on it. This is the one that needs to be placed in the Valley.

How To Complete Daisy’s Boutique Challenge In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Create Looks That Match The Theme Daisy Gives You

Once the Fashion Boutique is placed, head inside and speak with her. She will tell you a bit about the Boutique before instructing you to add one of your own creations to a Boutique Mannequin. Head over to one of the ones in the middle of the floor and select “Put On Outfit”, at which point you will be able to add one of your custom creations to Daisy’s Boutique. If you have not created any, you will need to complete this quest.

After that, speak with Daisy again and allow her to praise your talent. Once that is done, she will introduce the final portion of this quest, which is to complete one of her Boutique Challenges. For this challenge, and all future ones, simply speak with Daisy and ask her for a Boutique Challenge theme.

She will give you some keywords which are clues as to what she would like you to create on the Challenge Space, which is the raised platform with two mannequins to the left of the entrance that you must use.

There are several ways to make money in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but many of the best ways to do so can be done without much extra effort.

For this first challenge, she will ask you to create something inspired by the words: Shoes, Seating, Casual, Black, Simple, and Calm. For these challenges, Daisy is looking for both complimentary clothes and furniture that fit one theme.

Therefore, head over to the area and design an outfit that you feel fits the theme. It does not need to be a custom piece, just anything matching the theme. The best way to do this is to filter your items using the keywords to ensure you have one of each.

Many players have struggled with the challenge requirements
and some of the most common problems tend to be, not using the designated Challenge Space and Mannequins, not equipping anything Black, forgetting shoes on your mannequin, not ensuring some of your clothes have Simple, Calm, and Casual tags, and not placing a piece of furniture that has a seat component.

If you’re missing anything, you will be able to tell by referring to the checkmarks beside each theme keyword. One item does not need to meet every requirement by itself, so place as many items and looks as you need to.

Once every requirement is satisfied, speak with Daisy and ask if you have completed the challenge to which she will excitedly tell you that you have and thus the You Have Mail! quest will be completed and Daisy and the Fashion Boutique are officially unlocked in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
