BASEBALL

Neenah 7, Kaukauna 4

KAUKAUNA – The Rockets improved to 3-1 in the Fox Valley Association with the win over the Ghosts.

Ethan Van Dyke was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Neenah. Andrew Carlson was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Trevor Stichman added two hits for the Rockets.

A.J. Price pitched five innings and struck out eight for Neenah. Isaac Verbruggen pitched two innings and struck out three.

Bron Schaefer had two hits for Kaukauna. Drew Luckow drove in two runs.

Kimberly 4, Oshkosh West 0

OSHKOSH – Brady Coons doubled in three runs in the third inning and the Papermakers tacked on another run in the fifth to earn the Fox Valley Association win.

Brady Koester pitched the first five innings, allowing just one hit and one walk while striking out nine to get the win. Ayden Tomlinson pitched the final two innings, walking one and striking out one.

Koester was 2-for-3 at the plate.

Kimberly moves to 4-0 in the FVA and 6-0 overall, while West falls to 0-5 and 1-6.

Appleton North 5, Hortonville 2

APPLETON – Ethan Wick struck out three batters to get the win and Alex Ramus got the save for the Lightning.

Bennett Popp had a key RBI double for Appleton North, which won despite getting only three hits.

Chilton 1, Two Rivers 0

CHILTON – Ryan Pierquet pitched a complete game and struck out 17 batters to lead the Tigers to the victory.

Pierquet allowed five hits and did not walk a batter.

Slaytt Nolan was 3-for-3 with a double and scored the game’s only run. Hunter Rolbiecki had the only other hit for Chilton.

Bonduel 11, Manawa 1

BONDUEL – The Bears scored in all five innings and had 13 hits in the victory over the Wolves.

Easton Reinke was 4-for-4 with a home run, Noah Weier was 2-for-4 with a double, and Brodie Hartmann, Karson Stoss and Charlie Tauchen all had hits for Bonduel.

Spencer Strebe and Dakota Stroud had two hits each for Manawa.

Noah Weier got the win. He pitched four innings, allowed six hits and one run with nine strikeouts.

Bonduel is 6-2 overall and 4-1 in CWC East play.

SOFTBALL

Oshkosh West 9, Kimberly 8

OSHKOSH – The Papermakers led 6-0 after a five-run second inning before the Wildcats came back for the win.

Emmy Reichenberger was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Oshkosh West.

Menasha 20, Green Bay West/East 0

GREEN BAY – The Bluejays scored six times in the first, once in the second, seven times in the third and six in the fourth to earn the Bay Conference win over the Wild Devils.

Addie Lund was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI, Karly Helf was 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBI, while Kelsie Mohr added three RBI without the benefit of a hit. Registering two hits each for Menasha were Bella Sonnenberg, Gabrielle Farr and Isabella Timm.

Sam Shuey picked up the win, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out eight in four innings of work.

Denmark 6, Fox Valley Lutheran 5

DENMARK – The Vikings won the game in their half of the eighth inning when Emma Olsen scored from first base on a double by Olivia Ullman.

Denmark had taken a 2-1 lead in the first inning on a run-scoring double by Shaelyn Kraschnewski and a run-scoring single by Maggie Frank. Audrey Baugnet delivered a run-scoring single in the sixth inning to tie the game 5-5.

Shaelyn Kraschnewski pitched 4⅔ innings in relief to get the win. She allowed three hits and two walks while striking out five.

Mishicot 20, Hilbert 0

HILBERT – Kiran Sanford pitched a perfect four-inning game and struck out seven to lead Mishicot to the win.

Katelyn Callahan had a monster game for Mishicot, going 3-for-4 with two homers, three runs scored and five RBI.

Mishicot scored twice in the first, three times in the second, twice in the third and 13 times in the fourth to earn the Big East win.

GIRLS SOCCER

Ozaukee/Random Lake 4, St. Mary Catholic 2

FOX CROSSING – Bitzy McCauley and Audrey Wanless each scored goals, while Moorea Steckling added an assist but it wasn’t enough as the Zephyrs fell short in Big East Conference play.

Ozaukee/Random Lake grabbed a 2-1 advantage at the half and added two more goals in the second half.

St. Mary Catholic goalkeeper Bethany Ruppert made 12 saves in net.

Oshkosh West 1, Winneconne 0

WINNECONNE – Ava Pamer scored off an assist from Mykayla Werner in the 60th minute to left the Wildcats to the nonconference win over the Wolves.

St. Mary Catholic 6, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 0 (Tuesday)

FOX CROSSING – Audrey Norville scored two goals and had three assists for the Zephyrs in the victory.

Bitzy McCauley added two goals, Audrey Wanless had a goal and two assists, and Claire Benz scored a goal for SMC.

Zephyrs goalie Bethany Ruppert made five saves.

BOYS

De Pere’s Casey Trousil won the 400-meter dash with a time of :50.01 and teamed with Yaw Gyamfi, Kyle Lindberg and Noah Fischer to win the 1,600 relay in 3:30.85. Gyamfi won the 100 with a time of :11.50.

Joseph Hunt of Notre Dame was the winner in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs with times of 4:28.24 and 9:56.21, respectively.

Hortonville’s Ben Smith won the shot put with a put of 66-4.5 and the discus with a throw of 195-3.

Ashwaubenon’s Pierce Foley won the 400 relay with teammates Jacob McVane, Gus Newel and Noah Platten with a time of :43.74. That foursome also won the 800 relay in 1:30.90.

Kaukauna’s Sydney Fauske took first in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 11:38.26 and teamed with Josie Greenthal, Lauren Pruno and Kaylee Behling to win the 3,200 relay in 10:15.71.

Notre Dame’s Danika Apple won the 100- and 200-meter dashes, clocking in with winning times of :12.52 and :26.03, respectively. Apple teamed with Sydney Whitehouse, Madeline Rose and Julia Nolle to win the 400 relay in :50.26.

Green Bay Preble Relays

Neenah’s Rachel Dietrich, Brooke Veith and Mazie Olkowski won the 3,200-meter relay with a time of 9:54.72. Dietrich teamed with Celia Gentile, Chloe Dwyer and Abbie Fischer to win the SMR 1,600-meter relay with a time of 4:24.63. Dietrich and Olkowski joined Lexi Dorner and Eme Olkowski to win the DMR 4,000-meter relay with a time of 12:52.26. Gentile was also victorious in the long jump with a jump of 18-0.5.

West De Pere’s Erika Ukkola teamed with Jocelyn Thomson, Kaylin Thomson and Faith Kibbe to win the 1,600-meter relay with a time of 4:04.26. Thomson and Ukkola also teamed with Ashlyn Magnin and Kibbe to win the 400 relay in :49.40.

Mishicot Invitational

BOYS

Oconto Falls’ Brady Bursa, Isaac Bramer, Evan Yuma and Conner Wilquet won both the 400- and 800-meter relays with times of :45.30 and 1:34.51, respectively.

Bramer got his third first-place finish by winning the 200 with a time of :23.86. Wilquet got his third first-place finish by winning the 100 in 11.75 seconds.

GIRLS

Oconto Falls’ Rylie Shallow took first in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of :13.23 and :27.64, respectively. Shallow got her third first-place finish by teaming with Abby Budz, Gracie Miller and Anna Spaulding to win the 400 relay in :52.39.

Gwen Breckheimer of Hilbert won the pole vault at a height of 8-3 and the 100 hurdles with a time of :17.66.

Manawa Early Season Invitational

BOYS

Andon Chelberg won the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:52.90. Will Chelberg won the 3,200 in 9:48.85. Andon Chelberg, Connor Chelberg, Drew Chelberg and Will Chelberg won the 1,600 relay with a time of 3:56.02. Connor Chelberg won the high jump with a jump of 5-4.

Menominee Indian’s Barron Waupoose won the 200- and 400-meter dashes with times of :23.66 and :53.54, respectively.

GIRLS

Shawano’s Adalyn Barkley won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28.83. She was joined by Maci Beyer, Tela Hopfensperger and Onna Hermann to win the 800 relay in 1:50.27. Barkley, Beyer, Hopfensperger and Hermann also won the 1,600 relay with a time of 4:24.01. Barkley got her fourth first-place finish by winning the triple jump with a jump of 34-0. Beyer got her third first-place finish, winning the high jump with a leap of 4-10.

Manawa’s Olivia Tomko-Santos won the shot put with a put of 32-9.25 and the discus with a throw of 106-8. Jolie Jaeger won the 1,600 with a time of 5:59.03 and teamed with Brooke Krueger, Rylee Vanden Heuvel and Marilyn Klatt to win the 3,200 relay in 11:07.44.

Chilton’s Amber Anhalt, Adeline Bodinger, Taylor Byrge and Samantha Koehler won the 400 relay with a time of :53.35. Byrge won the 200 in 28.38 seconds. Bodinger won the 100 in :13.45.
