Hazard business has ribbon cutting ceremony
HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) – Downtown Hazard has been going through a resurgence over the last couple of years.
The resurgence continues with a ribbon cutting ceremony at “The Goal Line” Friday morning.
Even though The Goal Line has been open for several months, that was considered a ‘soft’ opening as the staff was still in the process of being trained and menu still being put together.
”We wanted to do this at a point where you come in, sit down, order you meal. Not have to wait an hour 15,20 minutes because we’re still training. People are trained well now, so you come in and order. You’ll get your food pretty quick, get good, hot food. I think our foods unmatched, it is really good.” Owner Jeff Norman said about the opening.
As numerous members of the community gathered to enjoy the official grand opening, this marks another step in the growth of downtown Hazard.
