Firefighters extinguish flames at busy south Charlotte shopping center

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Firefighters responded to a fire inside a busy south Charlotte shopping center early Monday morning.

The Charlotte Fire Department reported the fire around 1:45 a.m. at the Arboretum.

The fire appeared to have started in the Tacos 4 Life, but several other connecting businesses also seemed impacted.

Firefighters battled the flames for about 40 minutes before bringing them under control.

Nobody was hurt in the fire and its cause is under investigation.
