In theaters comes a quirky nonstop action ride, and it’s called Boy Kills World. Starring Bill Ksarsgard, Andrew Koji, Famke Janssen and many more. This film takes place in a crazy reality where citizens are forced to play a deadly game with weird opponents and quirky killers. Skarsgard stars as our hero who has been built to fight, problem is that he’s deaf and mute, so he must speak with his fists. Though the audience gets to ride along with the voice in his head too! Frenzied and fun, I give this movie a B.

Also in theaters comes Unsung Hero, based upon a real musical family and their struggle to succeed in Nashville and music in general. From Australia to the US, their talent and faith helped them to survive. This movie spotlights family and the weight of talent and love. Heartfelt and cute, it’s a positive film but needs a little more polish, so I’ll give it a C+ Grade.

Lastly, on Hulu is a story ripped from the headlines following a missing girl and the unknown stories revolving around her disappearance, it’s called Under the Bridge. Starring Oscar Nominee Lily Gladstone and Riley Keogh as an officer and a reporter both hunting for the truth. The twists and turns of this series make each character a shining light as you follow along, I loved it and give it an A-.
