Anna Nicole Smith’s Lookalike Daughter Dannielynn’s Rare Outing Proves She’s the Princess of Vintage Fashion
Anna Nicole Smith and Larry Birkhead’s daughter Dannielynn’s super-rare outing has an Easter egg that vintage fashion fans will go bananas for.
On May 3, papa Larry Birkhead shared a super-rare photo of him and his daughter Dannielynn, this time ahead of the Kentucky Derby. This photo shows that Dannielynn is not only her late mother’s lookalike, but she’s also the princess of rocking vintage fashion.
Birkhead shared the photo to his and his daughter’s Instagram with the caption reading, “On our way to Barnstable-Brown Gala for the kick-off of the @kentuckyderby weekend. Dannielynn is wearing her second @janetjackson outfit to the party that I got from Janet’s @juliens_auctions -charity auction. Looking forward to a fun Derby weekend with the newly graduated high school student! 🐎 👩🎓 #rhythmnation #kentuckyderby #barnstablebrowngala.”
Birkhead gave more details about Dannielynn’s look, saying, “Dress: @janetjackson/ Vintage GIANFRANCO FERRE/ Makeup: @makeupbyrick18/ Hair: @hairbyryanaustin/ Hair color : @jannaallgeier.”
In the photos, we see Danielynn and Birkhead chilling together at the major event, with Danielyn rocking that vintage dress Janet Jackson donned in the past. We get a couple more photos of the father-daughter duo. This is not only Danielynn’s second look from Jackson, but it’s also a look from Jackson’s song/ era “Rhythm Nation.” Truly, this shows that Danielynn is becoming a vintage-fashion princess, and we know her mother would’ve loved that.
Smith welcomed two children in her life: a son named Daniel Wayne, born in Jan 1986, who tragically died in 2006, and a daughter named Dannielynn, born on Sept 2006. Tragically, Smith passed away all too soon in Feb 2007.

Now, along with rocking Jackson’s dress, Birkhead revealed that he saved quite a few of Anna Nicole’s clothes, and Danielynn has already snagged quite a few of the pieces.
“There’s some T-shirts and different things she fits in, but there’s also some things that she’ll say, ‘Dad, no thanks, that’s not my style,’ ” he said to People in 2023. “There’s also some things that would have to wait till later. Some things are a bit more revealing and low-cut.”
